Registered Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints of the body, mostly by hands-­on manipulation, according to the college of massage therapists of ontario. Our massage therapy treatments focus on a variety of ailments, such as injury, health conditions, headaches, general aches and pains, postural dysfunction, and even just pure relaxation. Preventative care is a strong priority for us. We are lucky enough to have an RMT (registered Massage Therapist) with 10 years of experience in the field. Her focus is always trauma-informed and client empowerment, helping you to feel good in your body and advocate for yourself on your healing journey. Massage Therapy treatments can include the following modalities: Swedish Massage Trigger point Therapy Fascial Release Pre-Natal Massage Cupping Therapy Gua Sha & IASTM Reiki All clients must go through a thorough health history and assessment to ensure the best treatment. This will take place during your first appointment. Direct billing is available for many insurance companies, feel free to inquire.
